How it works
1. One master password
You pick one strong master password. It is the only key to your vault. Nobody can reset it for you — not even us — so there is no back door for anyone else either.
2. Everything is scrambled
Every password is encrypted before it is saved, each with its own key. Anyone who somehow gets your vault file sees only scrambled data.
3. Recovery words are your spare key
MyKey gives you 12 words to write on paper. Forget your master password, and the words open your vault. Keep the paper safe; it is a real key.
4. Your cloud carries the copies
Want the same vault on your phone and computer? Your own cloud folder (Drive, iCloud, OneDrive, Dropbox) carries the encrypted file. Your provider cannot read it.

Sign-in codes built in
The 6-digit codes some sites ask for live right next to the password, encrypted the same way.
Strong passwords, made for you
MyKey writes passwords you could never invent — at least 16 characters — and shows a strength meter as you work.
Gentle change reminders
Each password remembers its birthday. After 180 days, MyKey suggests a change. You can change the period, or switch it off per password.
Backups that need two keys
A backup file opens with your recovery words and a separate backup code. One lost paper is not the whole story.
Fingerprint unlock on Android
Open the app with your fingerprint. Your master password stays the real key underneath, and always works.
A limited key for your AI helper
On desktop, you can give a program you trust — like an AI assistant — its own key that reads only the entries you pick. Never your sign-in codes. Every use is logged, and you can revoke it any time.
Copied passwords wipe themselves
Copy a password, paste it, and it clears itself shortly after. Locking the vault clears it at once.
Looks the way you like
The phone and web apps follow your device's light or dark setting, font size, and motion choices — or pick a skin. Every skin is checked so text stays easy to read.
